This program (called Project Diana for the time being) relies on Python, complex SQL database builds and creating integrative scripts that provide transparency about infringers to users about themselves which would normally be kept behind red tape. Typically these are software users who would simply like access to information that pertains to, or exploits, their works or person.

DMCA (Project diana) Overview

This project addresses large scale content removal challenges while improving workflow efficiency and accuracy. It addresses the failures of competitors such as Bruqi and Rulta while providing counter-offers to their lack of transparency, engineering efficiency, humanity and financial accessibility.

Key capabilities include

  • Free browser extension that aids in: link collection, email creation, identifying DMCA contacts, downloadable spreadsheet, recommended actions, assisting with spam reports, information about the website’s host & registrar (helpful for non-compliant sites)
  • Automating identification of duplicate and recursive URLs
  • Standardizing data for clearer tracking and reporting
  • Supporting long term monitoring through structured data
  • Improving detection of repeated leak patterns
  • Enabling faster takedown cycles across domains
  • Creating a multifunctional database that addresses:
    • “leaks” or content that should be paywalled
    • deepfakes
    • blackmailing
    • impersonations
    • illegal distribution & re-selling of content
    • threats and intimidation
    • stalking
    • other forms of NCII (non-consensual intimate imagery)

LinkHound: free self-service dMCA takedown tool
Update: 04/18/2026
Expected Release Date: 05/15/2026

Browser extension [Open to all]:

This tool is recommended for creators with some existing experience in handling DMCA takedowns independently, are relatively comfortable with technology and know how to browse the internet safely. The basic version is intended to provide users with the most clickless experience possible when they are on leak/deepfake sites. If you have a little experience handling your own takedowns, then you know most of the sites force re-directs, cover their DMCA contact info with giant pop-ups (overlays), block your back button (this is called back button or UI hijacking), they open new browser tabs without your consent, disable the ability to exit out of pop-ups, and a whole bunch of other shady practices.

The 100% Free FOREVER Promise

This is correct. FREE. Not freemium. I don’t like when people do it to me, so I won’t do it to you. This extension will remain free until I die, the site dies or there’s a worldwide catastrophe. I will not remove features and then add a paywall to the features later. I made this as a class project and I chose this specific project because I like to help people. And I didn’t want to waste it on just me. I know there are people who could truly benefit from its basic features and planned features (which you can access early during my closed beta testing phase.)

I will never surprise you with paywalls or revoke core features from it and try to force you to upgrade.

I do have another software suite in the works, but it’s entirely separate. They’re sister products. Once the extension is fully complete you will have all of the tools necessary to handle your own takedowns, and you will also have the option of signing up for the software suite.

How the LinkHound Tool Helps With Self-managed DMCA Takedowns (the process)

LinkHound’s initial release will include a page scanner that allows you to pull links and its associated DMCA contact (if available) without ever having click on the website. That means no more unexpected re-directs from right clicking, back-button hijacking or overlays (giant popups) that prevent you from locating a website’s DMCA contact. The information can be cleaned up directly from the extension and then exported into an Excel spreadsheet or notepad that is formatted and ready to be pasted into your Google report, a DMCA takedown notice email, or you can export it straight away if you prefer Excel. The app will only collect information that is necessary to make it function on your end. Next, it has a spam identifier – so you don’t need to go searching Google’s forums to figure out whether or not it qualifies as spam – my hope is that eveually you will intuitively know the answer. If the site is in fact a spam site by Google’s most recent definitions, reporting them to a separate department in tandem with your DMCA notice may result in the site being blacklisted or de-ranked to the 20th page of results. This affects the site’s monetary value, essentially making them useless to the site’s admins.

So, how can it be improved in future updates without collecting information?

I’ve thought long and hard about this. I have generally spent my career in marketing opposed to excessive data that websites and apps scrape about their users. Some of it is helpful, sure. But I’m also not just a marketer or SEO. I’m a consumer and I feel very strongly about my own privacy, and it would be quite ironic if I didn’t advocate for my user’s privacy as well.

Optional Data Collection – YOU choose:

  • The extension will have a built-in reporting tool.
For example, you notice that the extension is behaving erratically when you visit a new website.
This is stuff that I need to know about to keep the extension effective.
You may submit a report completely anonymously

Alternatively, Any Personal Info You Choose to Share Will Be Incentivized:

  • If you choose to share or participate, you will be granted access to closed beta (early access to advanced features)
  • Credits to put towards the full software suite or a recurring subscription – releases by mid-September
  • For a handful of people, free lifetime access to all of the benefits and features avaible on the suite’s official release date + any new features released within 6 months of its initial release
This will be offered to active users who regularly submit feature requests and usability issues, conflicts with browser or other extensions, faulty behavior triggered by specific websites, etc.
After the first 6 months, it will remain free and you will still get updates for bug fixes and minor new features – any additional features will be dependent upon whether you want to continue testing through supporting.
Why is My Identity Required For This??

As much as I want to trust everyone’s intentions, it’s too high of a risk for me to allow just anyone to use it. If I allow the wrong person in and they choose to abuse the tool or find a vulnerability before I do and exploit it, my extension could be banned or worse – my website could be blacklisted and I could get in serious trouble. If I already know you from interactions on social media, Twitch, LinkedIn, you can skip verification.

You don’t need to provide me with any PII (personally identifiable information) like your legal name, your phone number or address.

Email address would be nice just in case I have a question something you submit or an update on a ticket, but it’s not mandatory. I won’t use it for email marketing unless you ask me to – and I have a very strict double opt-in stardard. I’m not going to just randomly email promotions. I might invite you future beta testing, but the email will be personal message directly from me – it will not come from an email marketing provider.

Other Methods to Collect Product Feedback

  • Anonymous, honest, public reviews directly on the website and/or anonymous surveys
  • Focus groups and one-on-ones with willing participants – which also gives us the opportunity to get acquainted

This is an extension that will be 100% free and give you full control over your privacy.

I will never surprise you with paywalls on previously free features (unless something changes and it costs me out of pocket – which is unlikely.)

Planned Beta Features & Roll-outs

Pillars

  • Provides transparency to users
  • Offers accessibility and flexible options
  • Creates a more human-centered experience – not just more of the same AI-driven software
  • Is built and led by women
  • Actively supports legislation that protects women

Conclusion

This software is designed to scale while delivering results that are auditable, traceable, and transparent.

At its core is “Diana” which is the engine that powers safety, identification, normalization, and the detection of nonconsensual digital content such as deepfakes/sexualized gen-AI content, alleged “leaks”, and the spread of pornography targeting children; which allows users to act with clarity and confidence without needing to reverse engineer the system that currently exists just to locate their own publicly available personal information.

Collaboration

I am looking for collaborative partners within the realm of
